An exhilarating experience for the entire family! The festival takes place in beautiful downtown Lapeer, Michigan during the height of the Summer when the community is at it's most beautiful. This is Lapeer County's premier FREE festival. The Lapeer Days festival has grown in popularity to become one of MID-MICHIGAN'S premier FREE festivals!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The Lapeer Days Committee is looking for volunteers to help with various activities during the festival, August 20, 21, and 22. 

We need volunteers to assist with the Parade, ice sales, the Chamber booth, in the hospitality suite, with special events and more.  Volunteers receive a festival T-shirt, food and refreshments the day(s) they’re working - and more!  

It’s great fun, and you work with and meet a lot of terrific people.  Volunteers get to see the behind the scenes workings that go into the festival!

The Lapeer Days Legacy 

On Aug. 28, 1902, Alonzo A. Bostick and his son Austin celebrated the grand opening of Bostick Stove Works in Lapeer. Neither Alonzo nor his son could have foreseen the legacy they bestowed on our community.  The simple grand opening celebration inspired the idea of a community festival held for the first time the following year. The Lapeer Days Festival was born. From simple beginning’s it has grown over the years to become the county’s largest festival and Michigan’s largest FREE festival
